• I forged ahead (over the objection of some members of Council) with the groundbreaking and construction of the skate board park at its current location. The concerns surrounding the location proved to be unfounded and the skate board park is operating smoothly.
• The Lakewood Park Lakefront Promenade is another example of a concept that I brought from the talking stage to the actual construction stage. I met personally with the director of the Ohio Public Works Commission to reinstate funding for this project. My efforts paid off and enabled the State of Ohio to help fund a significant portion of this beautiful promenade.
• Have worked with community volunteers to improve and protect our Lakewood Dog Park and introduce the annual “Lakewood Doggie Dip” at Foster Pool.
