Building Lakewood

As the chart illustrates, during my administration Lakewood has experienced unprecedented development. Lakewood is seeing new development from one edge of town to the other. We have worked closely with the schools, library and YMCA on their projects. In addition, new development products include:
• Bazetta Group LLC, 13001 Athens Ave. Total Investment: $1.2 million to purchase machinery and equipment to operate a steel processing business
• Sherwin Williams, 14711 Madison Ave. Total Investment $1.4 million to construct a new store
*Walgreens, Madison and Warren Total Investment $3.2 million to construct a new store
• Aldi’s and Fifth Third Bank, 1600 W. 117 St. Total Investment $5.2 million to construct new store and bank.
• Rockport Square Medical Building, Detroit and Newman Total Investment $1.5 million to construct a new medical office building
• Rockport Square, Detroit Ave. Total Investment $40 million housing and commercial development
• Rosewood Place, 15725 Detroit Ave. Total Investment $3.5 million residential and retail offices
• The Cliffs, Sloane Ave. Total Investment $19 million condominiums and marina
* Lakewood Presbyterian Church, Marlowe and Detroit, Total Investment $3 million education and office renovations
• Worked with Ferry Cap and Screw on expansion of Lakewood facility
