Building Community

When I took office, our city was divided among many lines. For me, rebuilding our social infrastructure has been just as critical as rebuilding physical infrastructure

• I meet monthly with the Lakewood Schools leadership, Lakewood Public Library leadership and serve on the Board of Lakewood Hospital. We also have instituted a Top 25 meeting to stay in touch with Lakewood’s other key institutions.

• I worked with Congressman Kucinich to save our Social Security office.

• I have worked to make our city a more inclusive community.

• Worked to honor our veterans.
